Roles and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the delivery and administration of a range of training and development programs to meet the needs of internal staff.

Job Responsibilities

  • Engage with the key stakeholders to conduct skills analysis, training need analysis and prioritize training. Be instrumental in building a pilot function and lay down a foundation in terms of processes and deliveries
  • Understand the industry and business. Understand and breakdown the business problem to be able to create and propose a learning solution
  • Plan annual initiatives and training programs in discussion with L&OD Head, senior management
  • Prepare training budget requirements and share with senior leadership along with track budget spend versus plan and take corrective actions if required.
  • Conduct discussions with BU Heads to understand training requirements (mandatory trainings, technical, domain, behavioural training, Project/Need based Training)
  • Identify and prioritize organization/BU level training needs and programs in line with organization's strategy and vision
  • Should be able to create content based on the inputs shared by the stakeholders
  • Ensure that content and context of all materials remains current, updated and relevant for business needs
  • Advice business to prioritise training needs identified in performance appraisals
  • Work with subject matter experts on designing training content and delivery. Plan roll out of programs including timelines, target audience and location
  • Conduct training programs for various audience groups, as and whenever required
  • Design and deliver training programs that address training needs on an ongoing basis
  • Execute roll out of training interventions including timelines, target audience and location
  • Arrange training logistics (with support of Operations Support) and drive delivery of training
  • Operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the job area and may influence a wider operational area
  • Able to identify problems and significantly improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 3-8 years of experience with strong communication skills and keen to assist people with their learning and development with proven people management skills.
  • Self-driven to handle the function independently.
  • Designing and supplying a variety of training styles
  • Managing budgets and managing people
  • Excellent in both written and spoken communication with the Confidence & ability to present to large audiences
  • Organisational and planning skills to manage time and to meet deadlines and objectives
  • Ready to travel to other locations as per training requirements.
  • Personal commitment to improving & updating the self-knowledge and skills
