Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Conducts Technical training needs assessment by collecting information on employee skillset

Devise technical training programs according to organizational requirements, Build quarterly and annual technical training program

Based on research, plan and implement technical training programs that will prepare employees for the next step of their career paths

Produce training schedules and classroom agenda

Determine course content according to objectives; Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets etc.)

Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually; Present all the technical and supply training requirements

UPDATE technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications

Determines system utilization requirements by researching and testing systems

Arrange for and conduct on-site training when needed

Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.

Observe and evaluate results of training programs and identifies areas needing improvement

Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements


Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience as technical trainer, Strong teaching and mentoring experience

Ability to do programming/Coding in any of the language Java/C++/.Net/JS

Experience in Conducting Training Programs in the Vanilla skills sets like J2EE, .Net, SQL and have a strong expertise in OOPS Concepts, Data Structure, Algorithm, RDBMS/No SQL Concepts

Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects, Advanced technical skills in e-learning and mobile training

Experience in designing technical course content

Ability to address training needs with complete courses

Working knowledge & familiarity in MS Office (especially PowerPoint)

Outstanding communication skills, interpersonal skills and comfortable speaking to crowds

Excellent organizational, decision making and time-management abilities,

Professional Technical training Certification such as STT or CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) is a strong asset


A bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

At least 5 years experience as a technical trainer, training specialist, or a similar role

5 years of experience with designing technical training programs and workshops

2 years of experience with learning management software
